Nick’s Pre School Graduation!!!!!

I can’t believe I’m already posting about my baby boy’s pre school graduation!  I’m so proud of him and so excited for him to start Kindergarten in a couple months!  I can’t believe how fast these past 5 years have flown by!  I sometimes wish he could still be my little baby boy, but I’m also so proud of everything that he’s accomplished and done.  At their graduation they performed the play “The Three Little Pigs”  Nick was cast as one of three wolfs.  He was very excited about his part and always came home telling me his lines =)

Here he is with some classmates waiting for the play to start

Here’s my little wolf knocking on the little pigs door ;)

Mother’s Day 2012

This year for Mother’s Day it was a very laid back celebration.  We just stayed home and hung out since Dustin had to go to work.  But before he left for work he got a picture of me with my babies!  The reason I get to celebrate Mother’s Day is because of these wonderful kids <3

And here’s a solo picture with Laci (she was upset because she wanted to sit next to me in the group picture)

And here are some gifts that the kids made me =D

Riley’s 1st Giants Game

Riley was lucky enough to attend her 1st Giants game with Uncle David, Uncle Jon and cousin Luke.  Auntie was supposed to go with them, but cousin Zach had a fever and wasn’t feeling too well so she had to stay home and take care of him.  No one else could go because everyone was working so they asked our kids if anyone wanted to go and Riley really wanted to go.  She was very excited to go and borrowed Nick’s Giants stuff to wear to the game.

Here she is with cousin Luke and Uncle Jon as they walk to AT&T park

Here she is with Luke and Uncle David watching the Giants warm up

They also took her to go get a certificate for attending her 1st game!

She was also spoiled by her Uncles!  They bought her a bat, a Giants pez dispenser, a Giants build-a-bear outfit, cotton candy and some other goodies!  She LOVED going with them!!!

Thank you so much Uncle David and Uncle Jon for bringing Riley along and thank you Auntie for letting her take your ticket!  Hopefully we will be able to go to more games that she can enjoy =)

Riley’s 1st Communtion

Today Riley had her 1st Communion at our church.  She’s been looking forward to this day since Ari had her 1st Communion last year ;)  She was so excited and happy!  Auntie Jacquie took her shopping a couple weeks beforehand to buy her a communion dress.  She looked so pretty and grown up in her dress.  All our family came to see her on her special day!

Here she is before church started with some pretty flowers that were in the church

Here she is with her teacher Mrs. Betty Jo who she loved as a teacher =)

We couldn’t really take any picture during church because it was a regular mass.  But here are more pictures taken after the mass ended.

After mass everyone came over to our house to have lunch and celebrate with Riley.  And since it was a nice day the kids also decided to go swimming!  Here is Riley with the cake that her and I made.  And she decorated it =)

Riley got Student of the Month (2nd grade)

Riley got awarded Student of the Month for April in her class!  So like always she got to have lunch with her principal and the other students that got student of the month.

Here she is with her principal

Having some friends and classmates join her for lunch

Good job Riley!  We are very proud of you and we hope you continue to get student of the month every year =)

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday we celebrated by first heading to church with the family.

After we headed to my sisters house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt for the kids.  I made a chocolate cake before church for the party and the girls decorated it at my sister’s house.  They are really growing up!

Here’s Connor’s at his first Easter with a gift from Mama and Papa

Baby Elena even came to the party to celebrate her first Easter also.  My Mom made her the beanie for her Easter gift =)

After everyone had lunch we went outside to hide the eggs

First we let the little kids go out before the big kids grabbed everything.  So it was Laci, Luke, Dylan and Zach.  (Connor was taking his nap already)
Look how cute Dylan was in her Easter outfit =D

Then it was time for the big kids to go

My brother on Zooey duty so that she wouldn’t chase the kids or eat the candy and eggs

After all the eggs and candy were collected we got a group picture of all the kids.  (minus Connor who was still napping)

And of course my sister’s and I with our matching shirts

It was a great day of hanging out with the family and celebrating Easter.  I am so thankful for my beautiful family and most of all my amazing kids <3
