Nick’s 1st T-ball game of the 2012 season

This little league season was supposed to start March 17th, but because of the rain they already had to cancel three games.  Nick’s team wasn’t originally scheduled to play this day, but it was a make-up game.  Nick was getting excited and wanted to play a game already!  Here’s my little man as he gets ready to bat for the first time of the season =)

I didn’t want to bring the other kids to the game because it was Laci and Connor’s naptime and Ari and Riley wanted to stay home so my Mom was nice enough to stay home with them.  But my Dad and brother came out to watch his 1st game.

Cordelia Egg Hunt

We attended the annual Cordelia Egg Hunt and this year was their 25th year doing it!!!  I’ve been going to this egg hunt since I was little and I love bringing the kids here as well.  They have two areas, one for the older kids and one for kids 5 and under.  This year Dustin had to work so my parents and younger brother came with me, along with my sister and her family.  My younger brother went with Ari, Riley and Nick to the older kid area and I took Laci to the little kid area while my parents watched Connor.

Winning a Coloring Contest for the 2nd time!!!

This  year  I  won  the  2012  Easter Coloring Contest  (in my age group).   It  was  the 2nd time because  I  won a coloring contest because I also won a coloring contest  in kindergarten. My prize was  $10 for the Book Fair. This time my prize was two $5 gift cards from McDonalds ,  a free Happy Meal from McDonalds , a Yummy chocolate bunny , and a trophy. I am so happy that I won. Mommy said that I should have drawn a sun and a background and then I would have won for sure, but I won without drawing extras( the sun and background ). I just love coloring!!!!
